Job Description

Forming part of a respected and established Financial services firm, that offers wealth, fiduciary and business solutions, the PARAPLANNER will primarily be responsible for supporting and assisting financial planners. With the long term goal of becoming a Financial Advisor, the Paraplanner will be a financial expert with specific responsibilities including: Conducting Administrative Tasks: answering calls, replying to emails, scheduling appointments, organising client records and data entries. Offering Recommendations: assist in researching investment options, analysing data and providing recommendations and insight to financial planners for the planning process. Writing Financial Reports: prepare analytical reports based on financial data and research so financial planners can make informed decisions and communicate effectively with clients. Supporting Client Projections: help create financial projections and reports for clients, indirectly support financial planners in their client interactions. Conducting thorough research: facilitating compliance checks, creating suitability reports and answering any technical queries put forward by the client. Qualifications and experience required: Matric (NSC) and Degree in Finance or Accounting CFP designation Computer literate Strong research skills with the ability to summarise information Detail oriented, analytical, professional Excellent communication skills and a team contributor This role will suit a young Paraplanner, or graduate who is specifically pursing a career as a Financial Advisor. Someone who is professionally presented with excellent communication skills. This is a full time, office based role in Durban North.
