Banking supervision therefore has the task of monitoring the business activities of credit institutions and maintaining investor confidence. The newly created IT Risk Competence Center brings together IT specialists and supports the banking supervisory authority nationwide in assessing IT risks in the banking industry. Work of particular value: your assignment with us You assess the functioning and appropriateness of the IT risk management and IT processes of the supervised institutions and their multi-client service providers. You are an expert in the team for information security (e.g. network security, cryptography, vulnerability management, penetration tests), application development (e.g. design, programming, build, test, deployment) and application and infrastructure operations. They deal intensively with technical innovations in the financial sector and assess their impact on the banking industry. You assess and evaluate complex IT and IT risk issues and can prepare and communicate your assessment in a way that is understandable and appropriate for the target audience. You will occasionally take part in banking audits and supervisory meetings at the institutions. You will represent the supervisory assessment to the institutions' management boards and senior employees. You will work independently in the agile team of the Competence Center and in a service-oriented manner with the supervisors in the head offices.
