Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to serve as both the Food and Beverage Manager and House Manager for a private residence in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of culinary expertise and organizational skills to oversee all aspects of the household's food and beverage services and general operations.
Responsibilities:
Menu Planning and Development:
- Create and implement innovative and diverse menus that cater to the preferences of the household and guests.
- Collaborate with the Chef to ensure the highest quality food is prepared and presented.
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into menu offerings.
Inventory Management:
- Manage food and beverage inventory to minimize waste and optimize costs.
- Place orders with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor stock levels and adjust orders as needed.
Event Planning and Execution:
- Coordinate and execute all food and beverage aspects of private events, including parties, dinners, and special occasions.
- Ensure seamless service and presentation for all events.
- Work closely with the household staff to coordinate logistics and timelines.
Household Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of the household, including housekeeping, maintenance, and security.
- Ensure the smooth running of all household systems and equipment.
- Coordinate with external service providers, such as cleaners, gardeners, and repair technicians.
Staff Supervision:
- Manage and supervise all household staff, including housekeepers, drivers, and other personnel.
- Ensure that staff are performing their duties effectively and efficiently.
- Address any issues or concerns promptly.
Property Management:
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs of the property.
- Ensure that the property is well-maintained and in good condition.
- Monitor security systems and procedures.
Guest Accommodations:
- Prepare and maintain guest accommodations, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment.
- Coordinate guest arrivals and departures.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in food and beverage management and household operations.
- Proven track record of managing high-end luxury residences.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Proficiency in food and beverage cost control.
Additional Requirements:
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service.
