Lead Developer

Lead Developer - Hybrid - Bristol - Up to £75,000

I am looking for a Lead Developer to join an agency based in Bristol. You will be leading a team of 5 developers. Our client specialises in developing and delivering modern, practical and essential learning and development systems to house-hold name clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience with best practices, be able to work autonomously and work on complex solutions and stick to tight requirements. Whilst also managing a team to work efficiently, effectivley and with cohearence.

This role involves being able to work in dynamic and fast paced environment. Offering support and hands on knowledge working with the full development life cycle. As Lead Developer, you will be directly interacting with clients, alongside the Project Manager, to discuss time scales, requirements and issues.

Essentials

• 6+ years proven commercial experience
• Strong software knowledge across both the front end and back end
• Competence with databases, MySQL
• Good knowledge of deployment. Docker
• Proficiency in using source code repositories and tools such as GitHub, BitBucket, Git and Visual SourceSafe
• Team Management expereince
