Infrastructure Engineer, Deployment

Who we are looking for

An Infrastructure Engineer, who will be responsible for the provisioning of infrastructure assets and the coordination of provisioning works, across our global datacentres.

You will have experience working within an infrastructure environment and be expected to work both independently and within a team, to deliver the provisioning of infrastructure assets across our worldwide locations. Delivering within strict timeframes and to defined installation standards are key elements of the role.

The day to day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused company ethos. We hire people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to tackle some of technologies greatest challenges.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience

• Technical background working within infrastructure environments.
• Demonstrable experience with Windows and Linux server operating systems.
• Base scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell or Python.
• Effective time management, organisation and work prioritisation skills to meet deadlines, while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Logical approach to solving problems under pressure and an active communicator on technical issues.
• Ability to manage and react quickly in a high pressure environment.
• Process orientated with excellent scheduling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple streams of activity, whilst shifting focus regularly.

Main Responsibilities

• Completing and validating server builds, to ensure that they conform to Business and security standards.
• Coordinating server builds process, ensuring delivery timeframes are maintained.
• Identifying areas for continuous improvement through monitoring, automation and process refinement.
• Staying abreast of latest technologies and making recommendations for implementation.
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
• Identifying areas of improvement and actively work to resolve them.
