Job Description

Part time position- The hours and days for this position are negotiable
Purpose:
The role will include general company financial administration with the main task being invoicing and being responsible for the professional running of the department in the absence of the Finance Manager/ Assistant. Additional tasks will involve developing and monitoring budgets for the different departments and projects within the company.
Key responsibilities:
  • Raising clients and customer invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Tracking finance sheets, purchase orders, contracts and other supporting documents where necessary
  • Credit control, chasing of overdue invoices and updating the accounting programme used by the company. This includes building good working relationships with external partners, by telephone, email and potentially in person meetings.
  • Liaise with small claim court regarding overdue invoices following instruction from the MD and Finance Manager
  • Petty cash reconciliation & processing of cash payment for DBS checks
  • Keeping accurate financial records and preparing reports for the MD.
  • Budgets and Forecasts- tracking budget spending for review by the Finance Manager
  • To arrange travel & hotel accommodation arrangements once authorized by the MD/ Finance Manager
  • To process payroll for the company
