Project Manager

Project Manager required. Our client has over 30 years of experience installing, maintaining and repairing a huge range of high-quality diesel-powered generators, from 6.8kVA to 1250kVA. This is for a range of projects including Data Centres, Sports Stadiums and high end domestic/ Social housing. They are now looking for a Project Manager in the Preston area due to the growth of the business. This is an ideal role for a senior engineer looking for his next step up or candidates with previous Project Management experience.

Successful candidates will oversee projects from start to finish, handling a wide range of electrical engineering solutions and preparing and ordering all materials to enable engineers to carry out the work. Although this is an office-based role, site visits will be required to oversee repairs and assist with commissioning.

Project Manager Position Overview

• Supporting and assisting the engineering team with all their electrical installations and repairs.
• Overseeing a wide range of electrical engineering solutions and preparing / ordering all materials and technical information to enable the engineers to complete the works on site.
• Visiting site when required
• Assisting with commissioning, testing and overseeing all manner of electrical repairs.
• Preparing all the necessary paperwork to enable an effective solution process for the customer.

Project Manager Position Requirements

• 5+ years' experience as a Project manager or an experience Electro Mechanical Engineer in the Diesel Generator Field.
• Full Driving Licence.

Project Manager Position Remuneration

• Salary: £50,000- £60,000
• Working hours: 8- 5pm
• Company vehicle with personal use allowed.
