Office based: Birmingham

Remuneration: £25,000 £27,000 + Bonus

The role of the Sales Coordinator Architectural Ironmongery will involve:

• Internal Sales Executive selling a comprehensive range of manufactured high end architectural ironmongery including: keys & cylinders, automation, access controls
• Liaising with external customers and all internal departments to ensure business processes run smoothly
• The customer base will consist of specialist architectural / ironmongery contractors & main contractors and to a lesser extent architects & interior designers
• Deal with incoming enquiries via telephone and email
• Responsible for providing consistent updates to customers; lead times, availability etc.
• Addressing customer concerns and reporting any issues to the relevant internal departments
• Process incoming orders, check if it is a stock item or if it requires manufacturing
• Project sizes can differ between £10 £30,000
• Scope to complete a funded course to achieve GAI (Guild or Architectural Ironmongers) certification

The ideal applicant will be a Sales Coordinator Architectural Ironmongery with:

• Must be confident on the phone, providing good customer service
• Ideally will have experience within a coordinator position however would also consider related positions such as: sales support, customer service, hire controller, internal sales
• Ideally will have experience with architectural ironmongery, door hardware or associated ironmongery products however this is not essential
• Enthusiasm and an attitude to learn are the most important things
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills and excellent communication skills
• IT Literate
