Job Description
A specialist Metal Fabrication manufacturer in the West Yorkshire region are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to head up the design on a range of new company product. This company have a global outreach and are the forefront of the Air Management sector.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, youll report directly to the Head of Projects and work in a multi-skilled Engineering team. Youll be tasked with overseeing the design of complex machines, fabrications & equipment using 3D CAD as the company transition into even more sectors.
This will involve working closely with both internal departments and external clients to deliver projects from concept to completion. Ideally, you will have experience managing a small team as this position has scope to move into a more Senior & Managerial appointment.

Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- CAD (2D/3D) Inventor, AutoCAD (others considered)
- Design Experience - Sheet Metal & Fabrications
- HVAC, AHU, Data Centres (desirable)
- Engineering Calculations
- Strong background in Manufacturing
- Experience Managing a Team
