Mechanical Design Engineer

This reputable engineering company are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to design a range of complex process equipment / packages used in various industrial sectors.

Working under the Engineering Manager the successful Mechanical Design Engineer will be tasked with taking complex systems through the full design lifecycle. This will involve site surveys, detailed specifications, systems design, calculations, P&IDs and overseeing your work into fabrication, assembly & commissioning. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy fabrications, skids packages, piping and calculations.

Mechanical Design Engineer requirements:

• HNC/D or Degree level in Engineering
• 3D CAD Inventor / SolidWorks (or similar)
• Fabrication / Steelwork design
• P&IDs
• Energy / Power generation experience (desirable)
