Neos are currently working with a leader within the HGV sector, they operate Nationwide dealing with some of the UK's largest organisations. They are currently looking for a General Manager to join the business to assist with their next stage of growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected & well known brand within the HGV Industry.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience working within the HGV sector and ideally have a technical understanding of how the manufacturing process works. You will be a proven General manager & need previous body builder experience or managed a similar production

The day to day role of the General Manager will be to oversee a team of Engineers/Assemblers, Drivers & Service Controllers, making sure they are working efficiently as possible to maximise customer satisfaction! Prioritise and manage build schedule, liaise with production director and production manager, manage employee relations and lead the team in an inspirational way.

The Role:

• Oversee the management of the refrigerated vehicle manufacturing facility.
• Prioritize and coordinate the build schedule.
• Collaborate with the Production Director and Production Manager.
• Prepare and complete job cards and work orders.
• Communicate with vehicle manufacturers, dealers, and customers.
• Report directly to senior management.
• Prepare and compile parts orders.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for parts procurement.
• Work closely with the accounts department for invoicing of builds and parts.
• Facilitate team member onboarding and induction processes.
• Schedule and organize maintenance for plant machinery.
• Supervise overall factory maintenance activities.

The Candidate:

• Proven experience in a General Manager position.
• Must have a background in body building and prior management of a similar production environment.
• Strong understanding of the manufacturing process is essential.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle type approval is a plus.
