Project Manager - Screwfast

We are looking for Project Manager to join the UK's leading ground engineering and geotechnical contractor. What you'll be doing

• Responsible for managing multiple projects, both is size and value, across various sectors, throughout the full evolution of each project, with varying values and demands from handover, design stage, procurement, construction and post contract.
• Working closely with other project managers, procurement managers, and the estimating and design team to deliver projects in the public sector (Road, Rail, Electrification and Energy)
• First point of contact for all clients and the supply chain.
• Proactive approach to project management (planning, thinking ahead, reporting).
• Ensuring each project is delivered in accordance with the internal management system and customer/contractual specifications.
• Liaising with the procurement manager and estimating department to ensure margins are achieved and expectations met.
• Liaising with construction managers to ensure installation runs safely and efficiently.
• Control of the project budget throughout including the invoicing of works.

Who we're looking for(person specification)

• Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Word and Excel
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system would be preferred, but not essential
• Knowledge of onsite QHSE and CDM
• Excellence written and verbal communication skills.
• Relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business and with clients.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Proven experience in project management experience in construction. Piling experience preferable, but not essential.
• Experience of effectively managing own priorities and meeting deadlines, in a fast-pace environment.
• Willingness to work flexibly to support the overall aims of the team and changing priorities.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Desirables: CSCS, Appointed Person, Experience with Microsoft Projects, Prince 2 or similar, IOSH/NEBOSH
• Other Requirements:
• Eligible to work and live in the UK.
• A full driving licence, that is valid in the UK.
• Flexibility to travel in the UK.

Location: Hybrid working, based near Harpenden with National travel as required.
