Chief of Staff, Investment Operations - Director

Description

This premier global asset manager continues to grow and invest globally. As part of growth, it is recruiting for a Director, Chief of Staff, Investment Operations for public markets investments.

Responsibilities

Reporting to MD, Group Head of Investment Operations, you will drive strategic and transformation agenda for investment operations. You will build an investment operations platform that is robust, business aligned and progressive (adopting best practices). You will evaluate current state and future state (new Target Operating Model) for investment services, build roadmap, support in prioritising initiatives, translate and structure roadmap into programs, and execute programs within agreed timeline. You will continuously identify, drive and lead both strategic change and enhancement initiatives, including ensuring that change is managed effectively, and timely escalation, mitigation and closure of all risks and issues. You will represent investment operations on various company forums (technology, risk, regulations, business etc) and ensure various initiatives are implemented, embedded, monitored to ensure agreed initiatives, objectives and targets are met.

Requirements

You possess a proven track record operating at senior and leadership level. With strong investment operations experience within public markets, you will have broad exposure and understanding of other functions including technology, finance and risk given the importance of connecting the dots in driving the build-up of robust and integrated investment operations platform. Prior consulting / project management background with proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget against a recognized project management methodology. You are dynamic and highly credible individual who can navigate the company successfully with excellent influencing and stakeholder engagement skills. With excellent interpersonal skills, you will motivate and lead a project team, without direct authority, relying on their ability to influence others to drive results.
