We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Account Manager to join our Asset Servicing Client Servicing team. This role is located in Singapore -HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • In this role you are responsible for service coverage of clients in multiple locations/segments, delivering a quality client experience for sophisticated institutional investors across Southeast Asia and Australia.
  • Develops deep understanding of clients' businesses and needs.
  • Cultivates strong service relationships at all levels of clients' organizations and ensures appropriate engagement.
  • Oversees the quality and performance of the delivery of BNY's Asset Servicing products.
  • Responsible for service plan and driving outcomes for service excellence.
  • Lead data driven conversations with clients, operations and product teams to create mutually efficient service models and expectations.
  • Provides support to clients in addressing and resolving complex operational and technical issues and ensuring requests are executed.
  • Develops virtual internal teams ensuring familiarity and understanding of clients' needs.
  • Applies advanced problem-solving skills, judgement, and experience to analyze information. Uses developed communication skills to deliver high quality service to a specialized client base.
  • Provides key individuals at assigned clients information related to BNY products and services representing a broad array of lines of business and geographies and leverages an in-depth understanding of broader BNY services and offerings.
  • Proactively assists clients in reviewing potential business needs and directs them to appropriate resources at BNY. Resolves the most complex or non-routine client issues or inquiries, as needed.


To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Possess a high-level understanding of the APAC markets, jurisdictions and industry drivers.
  • Understand client needs and align these to the product / services of BNY.
  • First class presentation skills, both oral and written.
  • Communicates effectively including writing internal briefs, presentations scripts, status reports, etc.
  • A self-motivated, innovative thinker, with the ability to work as part of a team and think quickly in high pressure situations.
  • Strong knowledge of industry and competitive landscape with demonstrable experience and knowledge in asset servicing products in the APAC region.
  • Track record of working in global financial institution and navigating complex operating models.
  • Strong global business acumen, with the ability to articulate APAC client needs to global product owners and influence product roadmaps.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8+ years' experience
  • Good understanding of Financial Service business
  • Fluency in Asian languages capabilities preferable, to support the APAC market segment
