Data Auditor

Data Auditor | UK Remote | £40,000-£50,000

I am working with a leading Audit and Data Protection Organisation who are looking for a Data Auditor to join their team!

This small team of 18 work independently but are also backed by a larger group who are 100 people strong, and specialise in risk management as well as Penetration Testing.

They are experts in data auditing and work with some big names, having built relationships over many years and now sitting as a trusted service provider.

The role is fully remote, whilst still being sociable with weekly pre-weekend virtual drinks as well as 2 big parties each year! Also, this will involve multiple progression paths, even potentially going into the route of Consultancy and Cyber Security work.

What is involved...

Audit Programmes & Methodologies: Utilising audit programmes and methodologies, with a main focus on auditing multiple long-term clients.

Privacy Laws: GDPR & PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) are essential for compliance-related tasks. You will be auditing against GDPR and PECR compliance regularly

Data Security Best Practices: Having knowledge of best practices such as CE and ISO27001 is preferred but not essential.

Internal Audit/Compliance: Working with clients to help delivery audit services, and being a point of contact

For this role you should have experience with:

• Internal auditing and supplier auditing
• Strong client facing skills, as well as being professional and able to push back on things
• Strong GDPR and PECR experience
• Preferably ISO27001 and CE knowledge, as well as GDPR/PECR certifications
