Commercial Manager

We're looking for a Commercial Manager to join us at North East Lintels - Kirkby in Ashfield!

Reporting to the C&L Commercial Director, the Commercial Manager will lead a team of direct reports, comprising of workstreams and Group interface in the following areas;

• Digital platform management & development
• Stock management & range development
• Project management
• Supply chain liaison & price management
• Post invoice margin support management

Here’s what you can expect to do as an Commercial Manager with Civils & Lintels:

• Lead, coach and develop a team of specialists.
• Develop and implement the continuous improvement plan for all areas of direct and indirect authority.
• Optimise ways of working across all functions to ensure processes are efficient and effective
• Accountability for leading the digital strategy ensuring C&L maintain a high pace of development in this key development work stream
• Develop and maintain business development opportunities that are presented and agreed with C&L SLT. In particular, working towards the integration of AI.
• Maintain the current systems and processes, utilising Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI as the business main reporting tools.
• Prioritise positive price management, ensuring C&L price position remains competitive within the market.
• Project manage annual people process cycles and activities including but not limited to year end, administration of reward cycles, systems upgrades, policy reviews etc. on time and on budget
• Working closely with Group Supply chain colleagues, manage relationships with supplier, ensuring C&L are matching suppliers digital expectations.
• Focus on continuously driving simplicity in all policies, processes and procedures
