Job Description

Commercial Gas Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems.
  • Perform routine inspections, servicing, and fault-finding.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Respond to emergency call-outs on a 1-in-6-week rota.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with clients.

Commercial Gas Engineer Qualifications & Experience:

  • Essential: Relevant commercial gas qualifications COCN1 CORT1 CIGA1 TPCP1 &1A ICPN1
  • Desirable: OFTEC certification.
  • Proven experience in commercial gas engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK driving license.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.
  • Call-Out Compensation: Paid door to door for call out with time and a half for call-outs outside of standard hours and double time for nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Hours: 42.5 hours per week.
  • Holidays: 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
