Infinity Systems Engineering LTDare recruiting for an experienced(Senior) System Safety Engineer to work on a Permanent basis. The System Safety Engineer should haveat least 10years of experience in the Maritime, Nuclear or Defence sectors and be comfortable in a customer-facing role. As a System Safety Engineer, you will be carrying out a wide range of Safety Engineering activities across a variety of projects.

Essential skills:

• Experience in the production and maintenance of Safety Reports and Plans:
  • e.g.Safety Case ReportsandSafety Management Plans.
• Experience in carrying outHazard IdentificationandHazard Analysis.
• Experience in carrying outFault Tree Analysis(e.g. Isograph Reliability Workbench).
• Experience working with IEC 61508.
• Good understanding of Systems Engineering principles.
• Hazard Log Management.
• Experience working on complex systems (e.g. Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear).
• Ability to work effectively across multiple projects.

Desirable skills:

• Requirements management.
• Experience with Failure Modes, Effects (and Criticality) Analysis.
• Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering.
• Familiarity with ARP4754A, or DO178C/DO254 and ARP4761
• Understanding of safety assurance of software and/or complex hardware.
• Understanding / experience working with DEF STAN 07-85.
• Experience working withDE&Sand following theASEMSprocess.
• Electronics Engineering experience.

Qualifications:

• Ideally be degree qualified in an Engineering discipline.
• Candidates will ideally be a Chartered Engineer (CEng) or have equivalent experience.
• CandidatesMUSTbeeligiblefor UK Security Clearance.
