O&M Manager

We are seeking an experienced O&M Manager on a permanent basis for a leading player in the renewable energy sector, focused on pioneering sustainable energy solutions. Reporting to the O&M Director of BESS, youll be responsible for overseeing the Operations and Maintenance services provided by the field Engineers on exciting Battery Storage projects. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role, driving the development of their O&M function.

The company are a industry leading energy storage client current ranked in the top 4 wind turbine manufacturers globally with over 22gw of installed capacity globally originally based in Shanghai with HQ'S across the world currently seeking a O&M Manage to head up hs/quality for their site based not too far from Middlesbrough

Skills & Experience:

• Experience: 8+ years in Asset Management, Operational leadership, or a related field within energy networks, renewables, or similar industries.
  
  
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of energy management practices, renewable technologies, and engineering principles. Previous experience in electrical contracting or construction environments is desirable.
  
  
• Health & Safety: Proficient in H&S regulations, with qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH.
  
  
• Commercial Acumen: Ability to identify critical issues and provide clarity in team efforts, with a focus on achieving commercial objectives.
  
  
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
  
  

Salary Package / Benefits:

• Competitive Starting Annual Salary - £70,000 - £80,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Oversee the O&M services for BESS projects, ensuring high standards through regular PPM checks, capacity tests, and reactive maintenance.
  
  
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including MEP Development and Construction to ensure optimal operation and maintenance of BESS assets.
  
  
• Health & Safety Excellence: Foster a culture of health, safety, and environmental excellence within your team and across the company.
  
  
• Technical Troubleshooting: Lead efforts in troubleshooting operational issues, working with O&M teams and technical partners to resolve challenges efficiently.
  
  
• Reporting & Optimization: Compile monthly reports on system availability, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and performance.
  
  
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their representatives, ensuring satisfaction and promoting future growth opportunities.
