Key Responsibilities:
- Site Management: Oversee day-to-day site operations to ensure that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.
- Setting Out: Carry out accurate setting out and surveying duties, including levels, alignments, and marking locations for structures and roads.
- Technical Support: Provide technical advice to site teams, contractors, and the project management team to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work adheres to project plans and complies with design and quality standards, particularly in the construction of highways, drainage systems, and bridges.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety regulations on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and contractors.
- Liaison: Collaborate with clients, designers, and subcontractors, ensuring that any issues or design changes are addressed promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily site reports, as-built drawings, and quality assurance documentation.
- Problem Solving: Address any technical issues or unforeseen challenges that arise during the construction process.
