Are you a skilled and experienced Building Services professional seeking a leadership role with a Tier 1 Contractor? We are currently recruiting for a Building Services Manager to join our dynamic UK leading client. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the delivery of high-quality, sustainable building services projects across various sectors.

As a Building Services Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of building services engineering across multiple projects. You will lead a team of engineers and ensure that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are designed and implemented to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Daily Duties of a Building Services Manager:

• Lead the building services team in the design, coordination, and delivery of MEP systems for large-scale construction projects
• Ensure all engineering designs meet client requirements, project briefs, and industry standards
• Manage and mentor junior engineers, apprentices, and graduates, fostering their professional development
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project delivery
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle
• Review and approve design deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and reports
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

What you'll need to succeed as Building Services Manager:

• Proven experience in a senior building services engineering role, with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• A relevant degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Professional affiliation or chartership (e.g., MRICS, IEng, CEng, MCIBSE) is highly desirable
• Experience with design software such as IES, Revit, or Hevacomp is advantageous
• A solid understanding of the commercial aspects of construction projects
