Job Description

We’re currently looking to hire an Index Solutions Analyst to join Legal and General Asset Management and the Index Solutions team.

The Index Analyst will be responsible for supporting day-to-day requests on LGIM’s custom indices. The role involves working across various business channels and regions


What you'll be doing:

  • Maintaining knowledge of LGIM's custom indices – index holdings and key performance drivers for communication to client relationship managers, distribution and clients
  • Being the point of contact for technical and specific client queries, leveraging specialists in the team if required
  • Creating standard presentations and RFP content to support client specific queries and lead non-standard Presentation and RFP production
  • Working with the Marketing team (in conjunction with the investment and distribution teams) to develop marketing materials for index funds and services
  • Working with the wider Asset Management team to develop thought leadership relevant to the index proposition
  • Working on improvement of an up to date set of core product information, including external collateral and internal collateral
  • Being able to communicate complex analysis and sophisticated ideas in a concise and understandable fashion, both externally and internally, both in writing and in person to our clients which range in sophistication
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the current investment market and economic issues from an index and benchmark perspective

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Have previously reviewed or evaluated index strategies, and/or previous experience in evaluating benchmarks. Presenting complex index data into a simple and readable format
  • You’ll have knowledge and understanding of how to evaluate an index
  • Strong investment and financial market knowledge
  • You’ll demonstrate strong VBA; excel and data analysis
  • You’ll have strong presentation skill as well as excellent written communication skills
  • Take ownership of day-to-day work and work with the various parts of the index team
