Job Description

A multi-site business is looking for their next mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer. Since their establishment, they have been at the forefront of implementing eco conscious methods for their industry. As an engineer, you would have the opportunity to work on innovative projects aimed at developing more efficient and sustainable methods for waste processing and recycling. You’d be supported by a seasoned and diverse team of engineers to ensure that all equipment, plant, building, and infrastructure are maintained.

What's the shift?


  • 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights (5:30-5:45 am/pm)



What would your day look like?


  • Collaborating closely with production to optimise the use of site assets.
  • Ensuring existing site equipment operates at peak efficiency to maximise benefits.
  • Contributing to the exploration of new manufacturing techniques
  • Taking initiative in enhancing energy and utilities efficiency to achieve cost savings, while also meeting production demands
  • Engaging in cross-functional teamwork to maintain a consistent and adaptable approach to ongoing improvement.
  • Ensuring all tasks are carried out in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Following the planned preventive maintenance (PPM) system diligently and punctually
  • Fulfilling all necessary statutory documentation requirements.



What are we looking for?


  • Mechanical engineering background
  • Sound grasp of health and safety regulations.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Experience in manufacturing or process operations, demonstrating proficiency in planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
  • Fault finding skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team and independently.
  • Highly motivated and willing to pursue additional personal development supported by the company.
