Our UK-based client is seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join their expanding team in Gloucestershire. They are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to help design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. You would collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure cloud applications are optimised for performance, cost-efficiency, and security.

Note: This role requires applicants to hold active DV Clearance

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing scalable, high-availability cloud solutions.
• Managing cloud resources, automation, and deployment via IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Enhancing security with best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
• Monitoring performance, availability, and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborating across teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud solutions.

The "ideal" candidate will have:

• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Skills in automation and scripting with languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments.
