What You Will Do

As the Energy and Sustainability Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in promoting and selling sustainable energy solutions. This role requires strategic insight, a deep understanding of the energy sector, and a strong commitment to sustainability. This is a UK-wide position with an expectation to travel 50% of the time.

How You Will Do It
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for energy and sustainability products and services.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and industry leaders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to create effective sales campaigns.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in sustainable technology.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for senior management.

What We Look For

Required:

  • Extensive experience in sales, particularly in the energy or sustainability sector.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability and energy management practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency solutions.
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and regulations.
  • Proven track record of developing new business and managing client relationships.
