POSITION SUMMARY

The Buyer will lead the development and execution of the sourcing strategy direct materials of around 10M€ spend & various procurement projects in a multi-national environment. The portfolio includes raw materials generally used for fertilizers and formulations for gardening products.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

• Gain a strong knowledge of materials & related regulatory and manufacturing processes
• Develop a good understanding of the markets for products
• Establish a strong relationship with external parties & also internal parties
• Collaborate with internal teams such as r&d, regulatory, marketing and supply chain
• Identify improvement and savings opportunities as well as risk management
• Lead budgeting, forecasting as well as regular price analyses related to the portfolio
• Engage in troubleshooting efforts and rootcause elimination with suppliers, factories, r&d
• Lead and participate in projects for savings, replacements and NPD

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Master’s degree(University, business school or engineering school) covering procurement or supply chain
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in fertilizers, chemicals and/or regulated markets
• Multi-site or international work experience preferred
