Job Description

We are seeking an Family Paralegal with a strong background in domestic abuse and child arrangements. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of family law, empathy for clients in difficult situations, and the ability to manage complex cases efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Solicitors in managing cases involving domestic abuse and child arrangements.
• Conduct legal research and draft documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information.
• Prepare case files and maintain meticulous records.
• Support Solicitors during hearings and trials.
• Liaise with social services, law enforcement, and other relevant agencies.
• Provide clients with clear and compassionate communication throughout their case.

About You

• Minimum of 6 months as a family paralegal with a focus on domestic abuse and child arrangements.
• Strong understanding of family law and court procedures.
• Excellent research, drafting, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and empathy.
• Proficiency in legal software and case management systems.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
