BTL Completions Officer

Mortgage Completions Officer - London

An excellent opportunity is available for a Mortgage Completions Officer to join our client, a leading property finance lender based in London.

Our client has traded strongly through the pandemic and continued growth has resulted in the additional headcount within the mortgage completions team.

You will be responsible for responsible for processing applications from receipt of a signed mortgage offer to completion. You will work closely with Solicitors and Brokers to ensure the relevant information is received to enable completion to take place efficiently. Checking Certificates of Title, handling legal enquiries.

Experience required:

• Minimum one year Completions experience for a mortgage lender
• Solid knowledge of end to end mortgage process and in particular the legal process from offer to completion
• Experience of Credit Search, Land Registry and fraud avoidance tools
• Proficiency in dealing with Solicitors and mortgage brokers
• Good communication, analytical and numeracy skills
• Experience of performing AML, KYC and associated ID checks
• Experience of BTL / Bridging Finance highly desired
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
