Our client is a well-established Ventilation Contractor and Heavy Engineering Specialist located in Hertfordshire, with a history dating back to the 1980s. They operate their own manufacturing facility and have a skilled in-house design team, supported by a workforce of 100 employees. Their success is built on strong, lasting client relationships and a reliable pipeline of projects for the coming years.

We are seeking a dedicated and technically skilled MEP Commercial Director to join their team. This role will oversee the commercial aspects of projects and report to a highly experienced Commercial Executive known for mentoring top commercial professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the commercial side of projects ranging in value from £1m to £15m, particularly within the life sciences and healthcare sectors, including fit-out projects.
• Ensure compliance with JCT and NEC contracts at both Tier 1 and 2 levels.
• Drive business development and strengthen client relationships, highlighting the company's in-house manufacturing and design expertise.

Requirements:

• Strong background in MEP, ideally with a focus on mechanical systems, though electrical expertise will also be considered.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry.
• Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts at Tier 1 and 2 levels.
