Founded in 1988, our client has grown from a boutique immigration law firm into a leading firm in London, specialising in immigration, international protection, human rights, white-collar crime, sanctions, and civil litigation. With over 40 years of experience, their expertise covers all UK jurisdictions, the European Court of Human Rights, and the European Court of Justice.



About the Role:

Our client is seeking to recruit a Civil Litigation Solicitor with 5-10 years of post-qualification experience. You will join their expanding Dispute Resolution Team, which handles complex and high-value litigation and arbitration, including cases involving sanctions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a personal caseload of less complex cases under supervision.
  • Assist with larger matters involving complex civil litigation.
  • Work on cases in the Senior Courts/UKSC or international arbitral fora, focusing on corporate, commercial, and financial disputes.
  • Utilise knowledge of the CPR, the Commercial Court Guide, and the CE-File system.


Key Requirements:

  • 5-10 years PQE in a mid/top-market or City disputes resolution practice.
  • Proven track record in complex civil litigation.
  • Experience in high-value corporate, commercial, and financial disputes.


Desirable Experience:

  • Civil fraud
  • Cross-border disputes/conflict of laws
  • Sanctions and white-collar crime/investigations
  • Conducting litigation in the Central London County Court
  • Personal finance/banking matters for HNW and UHNW individuals


Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong legal and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent drafting ability and commitment to high standards.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage a caseload.
  • Proficient in using Case Management and Time Recording Systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Client-focused with a commercial and solution-driven approach.
