Full Stack C# Developer | Trading Systems | Hedge Fund | London

We are working with a global, established and collaborative hedge fund based in London, known for their Fixed Income trading who have gained significant AUM – double digit billions. They are currently looking to expand on the technology side of things and are in search for a Full Stack C# Developer to join their team. This will largely be focused around their trading technology and risk applications which are used by traders and PM’s. Therefore, candidates with front office and fixed income markets experience/knowledge are of particular interest. In terms of tasks, this will be working on software optimisation, design and implementation to ensure a consistent and robust code base which can handle large amounts of data and be highly performant. Microsoft SQL Server and Python development experience are also other areas of particular interest for the firm.

In terms of characteristics the fund hires are high performing self-starters with the ability to be pragmatic in their approach to work. There is significant exposure to working with a range of stakeholders across the business so strong communication skills are essential. Candidates should have a genuine passion for software development and a general positive attitude.

Duties and responsibilities

• Take ownership of existing processes and systems.
• Identifying new requirements as they arise, design and implement solutions, keeping constant communications with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with other developers and consultants as needed to ensure a consistent codebase.
• Over time, develop an in-depth knowledge of the fund's technology stack.

Requirements

• C# full-stack experience
• “Smart and get things done” attitude.
• Ability to communicate clearly with traders and other stakeholders.
• Experience developing on Microsoft SQL Server.
• Any Excel and/or python commercial experience is desirable.
