The Company

We've teamed up with a major player in the UK food space, dedicated to creating products that celebrate natural goodness. They boast a portfolio filled with iconic brands that people love to enjoy every day.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving category growth and implementing category strategies whilst building strong relationships and engaging key grocery retail customers. You will also work closely with the internal team (revenue growth, marketing and sales) to align strategies that maximise growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with key customers to create and implement strategies that improve category performance and drive growth.
• Develop plans around product selection, placement, pricing, and promotion in collaboration with customers and internal teams.
• Provide insights to influence product selection and merchandising decisions with key accounts.
• Continuously review product performance and recommend changes as needed.
• Manage the range review process, advising customers on product selection and display.
• Analyse market data and consumer research to generate insights that drive sales.
• Use these insights to shape new product development and in-store/online execution strategies.
• Act as a category expert, providing guidance to ensure the successful execution of category plans.

About You:

• Proven success in a Category Management role within the FMCG industry.
• Experience with multi-channel strategies and knowledge of major UK retailer accounts.
• Strong project management and planning abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
