Air and Ocean Export Agent

LV Recruitment is on the hunt for an Air Export Agent to join an international service-based logistics company with an office based in Bristol. My client prides themselves on the development of their staff and offers an inclusive and supportive environment where you can continue to develop.

We are looking for applicants with air export experience but are also open to applicants within logistics roles looking for a change of department. To fit in with the team, you will need to be willing to learn, have a great attitude and enjoy working together to offer the highest level of service to your customers.

As an Air Export Agent, you will be tasked to effectively manage the flow of air export shipments through their network, with a focus on customer service, compliance and profitability.

Main Duties:

· Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow

· Ensure accurate and timely data entry into the operational system

· Track and Trace Air Export Files and reporting

· Ensure arrival notices are communicated to overseas and customers

· Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.

· Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.

· Contribute to maintain good relationships with suppliers (Airline carriers, trucking companies and others involved).

Experience:

· Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.

· Pro-active, strong organisational skills.

· Good computer skills (Excel, Word).

This role is based in Bristol with core working hours of 9am-5:30pm. Salary is dependent on skills & experience and ranges between £25,000 – £30,000.

This is an onsite role so please only apply if you are able to commute to near Severn Beach.
