KURY UK Ltd is part of an international company, Kury Groupe, 100% dedicated to the nuclear field with 23 years of experience in nuclear engineering.


Since then, we have been working with EDF (French Electricity Producer). We are involved in several nuclear projects, including FA3 EPR (France), the French fleet, Taishan EPR (China), Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C.

We are now looking for engineers to join our Team in the UK. Our human-sized structure (100 employees worldwide) allows us to devote to mentoring and training our engineers. SUITABLE CANDIDATE


You enjoy analising concrete problems, finding solutions and then setting them up.

Getting involved in significant industrial and engineering projects involving very demanding precautions as regards industrial safety captivates you.

Your good analytical skills, sense of logic, aptitude for synthesizing and your scientific knowledge will allow you to adapt quickly to multi-system environments.

THE ROLE


You will carry out system engineering activities for the Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Systems on the project, including Normal, Emergency and Uninterruptable Power Supply Systems.


You will be in charge of the following activities:


  • Produce, review and update the system documentation for the low voltage electrical distribution systems of the plant. This will include operator instructions, human-machine interface, safety and environmental specification, control logic design, as well as periodic testing in compliance with the engineering rules, methodologies, quality processes and tools.
  • Manage requests for modifications to system(s) issued by various external parties. It will involve producing specifications and following engineering cycle (I&C and/or mechanical design changes specifications).
  • Analyse and verify the applicability of these modifications, challenging them as appropriate.
  • Participate in experience-sharing activities (with other projects, and if coming from other projects, integrated within the project when possible).


During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects. This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics. Your understanding of the technical and environmental challenges will allow you to take on complex and critical transversal studies.



REQUIRED SKILLS


  • Knowledge or relevant experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Experience in an EPR project, operating plant or on an industrial site.
  • Previous experience in Electrical distribution technical reviews.
  • Knowledge of the electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system.
  • Knowledge of the quality processes involved in industrial projects in the nuclear field.
  • Ability to learn, prioritise and manage numerous tasks.
  • French-speaking would be an advantage.
