Production Manager

My client is looking for an Engineering Production Manager with a minimum of 3 years production management experience. Reporting to the Managing Director. Overseeing all aspects of Production. Managing a team of support staff and looking for a specific function within the business. The ideal candidate will be a qualified engineer with a proven track record in production and quality management. You must be process and procedure driven, Overseeing compliance of AS9100 QMS, HR, H&S, OTDIF, Quality. A working knowledge of the Aerospace and Defence sectors. A good understanding of paint specifications, chemical treatments of aluminium, CNC machining & Engraving, Screen Printing and Masking.

Essential skills, qualifications, competency

• Mechanical Engineering Degree, min HND
• Driving Licence

• 3 + years production management
  Production engineering, project management and quality control
• HR and H&S inc. COSHH, DSEAR, Risk Assessment management
• Microsoft Office, Excel, ERP systems
• Lean working tools
• Problem solving using creative thinking
• Leading a multi discipline production team, setting clear goals

Desirable skills, qualifications, competency

• AS9100D QMS compliance and implementation
  ITAR management
• Procurement
• Business finance for costing, budget control and profit management
