Full Stack Engineer – Up to £70K Basic Salary + Excellent Benefits – Hybrid Working / London

They are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to work across a number of different products and digital teams and solve some of the complex technological problems that the client faces.

This will include contributing to software design, development, support, and engineering practices such as code reviews, skill sharing, and more

Role and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product designers to deliver useful features
• Create, enhance, and sustain software solutions that align with product specifications and business needs
• Partner with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality products
• Engage in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to software development best practices
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix software bugs and issues promptly to maintain software functionality
• Produce and maintain thorough documentation for codebases, APIs, and system architecture to ensure clarity and ease of maintenance
• Continuously refine software for better performance, scalability, and reliability through optimization and refactoring techniques
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve our software solutions

Essential Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years experience as a Full Stack Engineer
• Strong understanding of, and experience with Python (Django is desirable)
• A solid understanding of, and experience with JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience working with website and web applications
• Understanding of Agile processes and product teams
• Ability to transform designs into features
• Experience learning and implementing using new technologies
• Experience of relational database design and integration

Package Details:

• Up to £70,000 basic salary
• Hybrid working – 3 days in the London office, 2 days working from home
• 15% pension contribution
