Data Engineer – up to £65k+ benefits

A Data Engineer opportunity for an established business who are investing in their data team to leverage Data more effectively to improve their business decision making and customers product development.

The Data Engineer will be involved in improving the company use of data, data pipeline's and ultimately improve their data accuracy, customer satisfaction and project delivery.

The companies offices are compatible from Southampton, Basingstoke and Fareham areas and they support hybrid working options with 3 days WFH per week.

Responsibilities:

• The role will be hands-on in developing data models, data pipelines, cloud deployment, data validation, creating dashboards with SSRS/PowerBI and facilitating technical requirements
• Collaborate with other teams and Senior level management on the Data models and projects.
• Implement process and performance optimisation
• Work to Agile processes

Required Experience:

• 3+ year's commercial experience in a similar role
• Commercial experience in Microsoft environments using SQL, TSQL, etc
• Microsoft Azure and experience: Azure Data Factory, Azure ASQL or similar
• Understanding of Data Lake Storage, Databricks
• Ability to interact with other teams, both technical and non-technical on projects as required
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
