Hardware Engineer

Hardware Engineer – London - £50,000 - £80,000 pa

A global electronics manufacturer designing leading satellite communication products for the maritime industry are looking for a Hardware Engineer to join their R&D team.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a cross-functional team designing and developing leading satellite communication solutions
• Develop high-quality, hardware designs
• Collaborate with product & technical support teams to improve product features

Key Skills/Experience:

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
• PCB design & layout (multi-layer)
• Analogue & Digital circuit design
• EMC/EMI
• Electronics prototyping, testing & de-bugging
• Microcontrollers & Peripherals
• High Speed circuits/FPGA’s

Any mix of the following is nice to have:

• Power Supply design
• RF design & test
• Satellite/terrestrial communications technology
• Networking protocols/Wireless technologies
