The Role:

Would you like to play an integral role within the BAE Systems, Air Team? Due to growth across our portfolio of products and services, we have an opportunity for a C’# Developer. As a C# Developer within the Air Sector, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a broad range of business-critical programmes & services presenting you with an ideal opportunity to further your career.


Air is ideally placed to influence current and future product delivery whilst driving business transformation, implementing new processes and where appropriate harnessing emergent technologies to maximise the success of the programmes we support. These roles present a unique opportunity to get on-board and be part of the next chapter of the Air Sector giving you key exposure to some of the globes biggest Air Sector Defence programmes.


The ideal candidate:

Degree Level in Software Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience

A solid understanding of the following languages & technologies, C#, SQL, JavaScript, XML, MS SQL, Oracle.

Experience in applying subject or discipline knowledge in defining bespoke software solutions as well as experience in applying tools and techniques (e.g. tool use, use of software packages).

Understanding of relevant techniques/theories and applications of IT/computing is required.

Knowledge and understanding of CASE (Computer Aided Software Engineering) tools such as Visual Studio and SQL Developer.

Working knowledge of software development lifecycle principles.
