Job Description

Position Overview:

The Project Administrator will play a key role in supporting the project management team and ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects. They will be responsible for assisting with administrative tasks, maintaining project documentation, and communicating with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in both project administration and construction, with a strong understanding of contracts, purchase orders, RFI's, and certified payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist project management team with administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining project records.
  • Coordinate and track construction contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
  • Manage project documentation, including RFI's, submittals, and certified payroll.
  • Communicate with project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients, to ensure timely completion of project tasks.
  • Support project managers in monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions.
  • Assist in preparing project progress reports and presentations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to project administration and construction.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Administrator or Project Administrator in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, purchase orders, RFI's, and certified payroll processes.
  • Experience working on commercial construction projects, with knowledge of tilt-ups preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and build positive relationships.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
