Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Materials Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team, contributing to the successful execution of a major capital construction project. In this role, you will provide essential oversight and client support for high-risk deliverable project packages involving critical vendors. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing vendor facilities, processes, and procedures, as well as offering expertise and support to various teams within the organization.

* Develop and execute logistics plans for construction projects, including scheduling and routing of deliveries
* Manage inventory levels and implement control procedures to minimize waste and reduce costs
* Oversee transportation and fleet management to optimize routes and schedules
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations for all logistics operations
* Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on logistics performance and challenges
* Supervise a team of logistics coordinators and site staff, fostering a collaborative work environment
* Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, construction management, or a related field preferred
* Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management, preferably in the construction industry
* Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in varying environments
* Willingness to travel to project sites (up to 50%) as needed, often on short notice
