Job Description

Established Banking group is currently hiring for Liquidity Regulatory Reporting Manager to join their London team. This role has been created through an internal move with the current incumbent moving into a Reg projects team. This is an ideal opportunity for a Liquidity regulatory reporting professional who is looking to continue their managerial exposure and will report directly to the Head of Regulatory Reporting.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversight for the production of prudential and statistical regulatory returns (PRA110, LCR, COREP and Bank of England statistical) as required to ensure returns are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Managing a team of 3 Liquidity Controllers
  • Consolidate existing reporting processes, including liaison with key stakeholders, in particular Finance, Risk and Treasury to ensure appropriate reviews are undertaken and sufficient challenge has taken place
  • Develop appropriate internal communication of regulatory ratios and summaries of key submissions
  • Work with the Deputy Head of Regulatory Reporting to deal with ad hoc requests from regulators in a timely and effective manner
  • Work with the Regulatory Policy and Planning Manager to ensure accurate delivery of new regulatory returns and reports, ensuring appropriate involvement of relevant staff
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of reporting requirements, regulatory changes and developments
  • Input into year-end processes as required, including managing delivery of Pillar 3 disclosures and key metric disclosures in Interim and Annual Financial Statements, in
  • Prepare key explanatory communications and reconciliations for senior management and liaise with Investor Relations team in dealing with prudential regulatory queries from investors and other stakeholders


Requirements:


  • Prudential regulatory reporting experience and detailed knowledge of prudential Liquidity regulations – Essential
  • Proven experience from the Banking industry – Essential
  • Experience of managing a small team - Essential
  • Qualified Accountant – highly preferred
  • Experience of BOE Statistical returns – highly preferred
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Strong academic background – minimum 2:1 Degree


This is a high profile role across the bank with regular interaction with key stakeholders across Finance, Risk & Treasury. It is therefore essential that you hold excellent interpersonal skills.
