Job Description

Develop escalation processes for project issues/risks.
Create and deliver project reports.
Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-compliant deliverables.
Develop strategies to meet project timelines and minimize risks.
Discuss project updates and risk management with the team.
Conduct site visits for compliance.
Represent DPI and the University of Illinois System in project meetings.
Coordinate fiber and utility delivery for the DPI headquarters project.
Perform other assigned tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
4+ years of civil infrastructure experience
Experience in engineering planning, design, and construction management.
Strong relationship management and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team, in a hybrid environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with project management systems (e.g., Kahua, Procore).
Professional Engineer (PE) or EIT licensure
