Job Description

Our client, a renowned National and International Financial Services Group is URGENTLY seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Corporate / Commercial Credit Analysts who have dealt with high-net-worth clients. PLEASE NOTE: A benchmarked CTC Salary of R30K - R40K per month is on offer. There are 6 vacancies to be filled: X2 Cape Town X1 Pretoria X3 Sandton KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: At minimum a BCom degree with Finance and/or Mathematics, Accounting as a subject(s) is essential. A Post-graduate degree qualification will be a distinct advantage. At least 4 years working knowledge of credit risk management, within the commercial/ corporate banking / financial services sector is ESSENTIAL Familiar with National Credit Act is ESSENTIAL Corporate / commercial credit analysis experience, at least 2 years but preferably 3-6 years in credit analyst role. (NON-NEGOTIABLE) Clean Credit / Criminal Record. A valid unendorsed Drivers License (Code 08). KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Deal management and preparation, deal execution and presentation, post deal implementation and lasty overall input towards credit projects, personal development as well as where needed client visits. Reviewing of financial statements to assess the company''''s financial health, profitability, liquidity, and leverage. Understanding the industry dynamics and market trends relevant to the clients business is essential, adding value to credit committee presentation and discussions. Ensure that credit decisions adhere to the companys credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Based on the analysis, credit analysts make recommendations regarding credit limits, terms, and conditions for extending credit to corporate clients. Conducting thorough due diligence on potential client is essential to assess their creditworthiness accurately. This may involve reviewing legal documents, conducting site visits, and obtaining information from third-party sources. Supporting legal approval and implementation of credit requirements. Articulating accurately the risk implications of change requests related to previously approved transactions.
