General Foreman

General Foreman Required!

This is a great opportunity for a General Foreman to join a leading civil engineering Tier 1 contractor and work on some exciting civil engineering projects across the South West of England, to be based on site near Exeter, and will be working on wastewater projects.

Key responsibilities for this General Foreman role:

• Plan and co-ordinate the operational delivery of the project as required

• Team management and supervision

• Ensure site safety

• Ensure the site fulfils all obligations for external compliance audit

• Ensure Permit to Work systems, Inductions and Briefings are correctly carried out

• Oversee the day-to-day construction processes and ensure co-ordination within the site team, client, and contractors

• Administer reporting systems (e.g. delivery notes, Plant hire and collections, waste management,) to maximise cash flow and profitability

Experience required for this General Foreman role:

• Experience of managing and developing staff

• Experience of Civil Engineering / Water / Wastewater Projects

• Knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations

• Experience of managing and developing staff

• Good Working knowledge of CDM/H&S requirements at Supervisor level

• Appropriate CSCS card

Package offered for this General Foreman role:

• Up to £60,000 negotiable based on experience

• Car / Company Vehicle / Allowance
