Hiring: Microsoft SME (Defender)

Location: 100% Remote (UK based)

Start date: ASAP – 18 months +, competitive PAYE contract

Experis have partnered with a Global tech giant who are looking for a Defender technical expert with excellent customer support skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support throughout the customer onboarding process. They will be able to assess each customer’s network and security in order to establish the most efficient onboarding of Microsoft Defender.

The Microsoft SME will have to work with Defender customers, assess their environment, network and software to identify the actions needed for a smooth and quick Onboarding of Microsoft Defender as well as training and educating other Engineers in providing customer assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take care of a group of customers and partners throughout the duration of their onboarding process.
• Ensure to keep all relevant knowledge up to date and take responsibility of service improvement
• Ensure onboarding programs are delivered on time while being cost effective and efficient
• Provide training and mentoring to other members of the team

Requirements:

• Qualifications / equivalent in terms of work experience
• 3 years’ experience in customer support/service
• Ability to communicate well with corporate customers
• Possess an understanding of the Defender onboarding process
• Experience configuring and deploying security solutions, ideally MDE/MDO/MCAS/MDI/M365 Defender in large organisations
