Manufacturing Engineer

Overview:

Reporting to Manufacturing Management, the Manufacturing Engineer will oversee the delivery of complex components and processes to meet customer requirements. This role involves working closely with operations leaders and program management to ensure engineering capabilities align with quality, cost, and time expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead technical projects to deliver efficient, rate-capable solutions.

- Ensure product quality and engineering standards are met by applying technical expertise.

- Interpret and assess technical requirements from 3D models, 2D drawings, and specifications.

- Design and support production solutions, including capital equipment.

- Drive improvements in design, standards, and procedures.

- Ensure safety and environmental compliance for new equipment and processes.

- Investigate non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions.

- Promote continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.

- Apply quality planning principles throughout the product lifecycle to ensure process validation.

- Provide production documentation and support the training of operations teams.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

- HND or degree in Mechanical Engineering, or CNC programming experience

- CAD/CAM experience and CNC programming

- Aerospace, automotive, or medical experience required
