Location: Potters Bar

Salary: Up to £90k + £7.5k travel

My client is a highly respected Developer who are currently looking for a Senior Design Manager to join their division in Potters Bar. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that goes above and beyond to provide housing in London and the South East.

This will be a primarily office based role with occasional days on site and an agile working policy in place.

Role

As Senior Technical Manager you will:

• Oversee all technical matters including design and approvals
• Be responsible for the control of the design process from planning application through to project completion
• Lead design team meetings, as well as ensuring that queries are resolved in a timely manner
• Provide technical advice on the feasibility of projects

Candidate

Senior Technical Managers applying to this role must have:

• Prior experience as a design lead who has worked at a senior level
• Delivery and action focused, can identify risks and deliver effective solutions with minimal supervision
• Effective time management and progress projects against plan
• Good knowledge of modern methods of construction and timber frame housing
• Experience of closing out challenging projects including refurbishment work
• Knowledge of sectional agreements related to legal completion of residential properties
