Salary: £45000-55000


A well-established, award-winning multi-disciplinary architectural firm is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled BIM Coordinator to join their BIM team. This role involves optimizing team workflows for Revit and associated technologies while ensuring the delivery of coordinated models, data, reports, and other project documentation.


The practice is London-based and offers a wide range of services, including architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and visualisation, for projects both within the UK and internationally. The firm works across sectors such as hospitality, commercial, and masterplanning, with a focus on residential-led mixed-use schemes. Their extensive experience covers both the refurbishment of listed buildings and the development of new builds on brownfield sites.

Key Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Qualified as an Architect or Architectural Technician/Technologist.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a BIM Coordinator in the UK.
  • Experience working on large residential projects, delivering them through the BIM process and Revit, particularly from RIBA Stage 3 onwards.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK construction processes, regulations, and procedures.
  • Expertise in BIM project deliverables (ISO19650) and coordination across multiple disciplines, including clash detection, data audits, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Common Data Environments (CDE) and NBS specifications (NBS Chorus).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in report writing and presentations.
  • Autodesk Revit: Advanced (minimum 5 years), Navisworks: Advanced, BIMCollab: Experienced, AutoCAD: Experienced, Dynamo: Good knowledge, Rhino: Good knowledge, Rhino Inside Revit: Preferable, Grasshopper: Preferable, Solibri: Preferable, Vectorworks: Desirable, PowerBi: Desirable, RevitAPI - Python/C#: Desirable


Job Responsibilities:

Project Responsibilities:

  • Setting up projects and models, including volume and modelling strategy.
  • Assisting teams with best practices for modeling and information production standards.
  • Supporting teams in the use of BIM for project review and coordination.
  • Providing guidance on Revit and modeling queries.
  • Producing project-specific content and contributing to the practice’s content library.


Client Information Requirements:

  • Understanding of key project information requirements (AIR, EIR, BEP, MIDP, TIDP, MPDT, etc.).
  • Maintaining and implementing the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
  • Supporting CDE workflows.
  • Producing structured data from design models (COBie / Ifc).
  • Ensuring model compliance with project standards and best practices.
  • Leading BIM coordination meetings, managing clash detection, and preparing coordination reports.


Practice Responsibilities:

  • Promoting compliance with technical standards across the practice.
  • Supporting the development of workflows for information production.
  • Providing training and support to project teams.
  • Representing the firm at BIM-related meetings and industry events.
  • Reviewing and approving models for project sharing.

Strategic Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research into new design tools and technologies to enhance productivity.
  • Testing new methods for project information production.
  • Developing efficient workflows and challenging existing processes to improve performance.
