The Role:

The Social Media Content Producer is responsible for ideating, producing, and executing high-quality and engaging content across various social media platforms. This role focuses on ideation, hands-on, and collaborative content creation leveraging expertise in editing tools for platform-specific formats. The Social Media Content Producer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and use technical skills in video editing, graphic design, and multimedia production to enhance our brand’s visibility and influence through compelling social media content.


This role sits within the digital & integrated marketing team and works closely with product management, customer experience (CX), comms, and sales to bring revenue generating products and solutions to market while increasing the visibility and influence of the brand through compelling social media content.


Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Execution (60%):

  • Oversee the production process from conception to publication, ensuring timely and high-quality content delivery.
  • Ideate, plan, and execute platform-specific content (video, graphics, etc.) for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, focusing on formats that drive engagement and brand visibility.
  • Independently produce high-quality social-first content using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, natively platform editing, or similar editing software.
  • Edit and optimize videos and images, to meet platform specifications, ensuring content is visually appealing and on-brand.
  • Collaborate with internal and external creative teams (videographers, graphic designers, agencies) to execute content ideas and ensure alignment with broader marketing objectives.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of current trends, audience preferences, and platform-specific best practices to inform content creation.
  • Experiment with new content formats and techniques to continuously enhance engagement and reach


Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination (15%):

  • Partner with product marketing, sales, and customer experience teams to integrate social media content into broader marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with other marketing team members to ensure content consistency across all channels and campaigns.
  • Partner with creative teams to align social media content with the overall visual identity and marketing strategies.


Content Calendar Development and Management (10%):

  • Support the development and management of the platforms content calendar that aligns with key marketing moments, product launches, and industry events.
  • Ensure a steady stream of content is planned, created, and published, with a focus on strategic timing and platform-specific optimization.
  • Support content scheduling and posting, collaborating with the Social Media Channel Specialist on day-to-day execution.


Performance Analysis and Optimization (10%):

  • Utilize analytics tools to measure content performance, engagement rates, and audience growth across platforms.
  • Provide regular reports with insights and actionable recommendations to improve content effectiveness and strategy.
  • Continuously optimize content based on data-driven insights, adjusting formats, timing, and messaging to maximize impact.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Production, or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in social media content creation and strategy.
  • Proven experience in creating and editing engaging content across various platforms, with a strong understanding of platform-specific trends and best practices.
  • Advanced skills in video editing (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut), graphic design (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator), and social media content tools.
  • Strong collaborative skills, with experience working with creative teams, agencies, and cross-functional departments.
  • Excellent project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple content streams and deadlines simultaneously.
